Purple yam meets snow-white coconut

Zotter Organic Drinking Chocolate Ube Coconut. Ube Coconut combines the bright purple ube yam with snow-white coconut. The mild, nutty flavour of ube, with a hint of vanilla, harmonises perfectly with the tropical, creamy taste of coconut. Ube powder, combined with coconut couverture and a touch of lemon, creates a colourful, on-trend drink that is also completely vegan. Tip: Enjoy it with a white plant-based drink (e.g. rice drink), milk, or chilled with ice.
Method
  • Blended: Blend a bar of drinking chocolate with 0.2 or 0.3 litres of hot milk in a tower blender or using a hand blender. And there you have it – your drinking chocolate smoothie is ready!
  • Creamy blend: Bring 200 ml of milk to the boil in a small saucepan, add the drinking chocolate bar and blend with a hand blender. Then make sure to bring the mixture back to the boil briefly, and your chocolate smoothie is ready!
  • Stirred: Heat 0.2 or 0.3 l of milk, depending on your taste, and froth it up. Now let the drinking chocolate bar soak in the milk for 1–2 minutes. Whisk the drinking chocolate bar. Leave the drink to rest for a further 1–2 minutes to allow the flavours to develop. Whisk again and enjoy!
  • Cool drinking chocolate on ice: Prepare the drinking chocolate as usual, leave to cool in the fridge and serve with ice cubes or crushed ice.

Additional Information:

The shelf life of Zotter chocolates is stated as just a few months from the factory. As Zotter does not use stabilisers or preservatives, the chocolates have a natural shelf life. Natural fats such as cocoa butter, nuts or alcohol act as natural preservatives. The shorter best-before date is therefore a sign of high-quality Zotter chocolate.
