Zotter Fig and Port

Dark chocolate 70% filled with port wine and figs ganache

Zotter Fig & Port, contains alcohol. Figs in port are a classic dessert or cocktail and now they come as a dessert chocolate as well. A Portuguese Reserve Ruby Port by Romariz with an extremely fruity flavour, matured in oak barrels flows into a very creamy, dark port ganache. Some bits of fig marinated in port, which pop up as a fruity and excitingly crunchy surprise are also added. It’s covered in dark chocolate with a 70% cacao content, which is sweetened with maple sugar.

The shelf life of Zotter chocolates is already specified from manufacture with very few months. Since Zotter dispenses with stabilizers and preservatives, the chocolates have a natural shelf life limit. Natural fats such as cocoa butter, nuts or alcohol ensure natural preservation. Therefore the shorter minimum shelf-life characterizes a high-quality Zotter chocolate.
