What is wild plastic?
Wildplastic products are made from wild plastic. The name was given to the plastic used in its products by the manufacturer itself. The term wild plastic refers to all plastic that is not currently in a closed recycling loop. It enters the environment primarily from roads, illegal and open dumps, and from the natural environment. Please note: the litter that Wildplastic collects is not ‘ocean plastic’. This may fit the definition, but Wildplastic's work starts before the plastic even enters the water. Wildplastic specialises in LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) plastic film. Plastic film is technically very easy to recycle.
