: Review date:I got the biscuits as a gift and love that they are made from four different gluten-free wholemeal flours. Wheat is in almost everything nowadays, so it's good to have an alternative. I thought they tasted great too, with their lovely wintery speculoos flavour. Only they could have been a bit crunchier. But that's still a challenge in gluten-free cuisine.
Habe die Kekse geschenkt bekommen und finde es toll, dass sie aus vier verschiedenen glutenfreien Vollkornmehlen sind. Weizen ist ja mittlerweile fast überall drin und finde es gut hierzu auch mal eine Alternative zu haben. Geschmacklich fand ich sie auch toll mit ihrem schön winterlichen Spekulatius-Geschmack. Nur etwas knackiger hätten sie sein können. Aber das ist wohl noch eine Herausforderungen der glutenfreien Küche.

Bei Spekulatius hätte ich den typischen Geschmack von Zimt, Kardamom und Nelke erwartet. Leider war ich vom Geschmack etwas enttäuscht. 4-Korn Spekulatius schmecken weitgehend neutral. Das Knusprige hat mir auch gefehlt. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich mich lieber anderweitig orientieren.

: Review date:I ordered the biscuits for my friend because she doesn't tolerate gluten. When she came to visit me the other day, I wanted to surprise her with something delicious and, because it's almost Christmas, I decided on Spekulatius. As I didn't want everyone to eat their own biscuits, we ate the gluten-free ones together. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much in the way of taste and was all the more surprised to find out how delicious they are. Not so sweet but nicely spiced for Christmas. My friend also liked them. She immediately asked about the brand and will now order the biscuits herself.
Die Kekse habe ich für meine Bekannte bestellt, da sie kein Gluten verträgt. Als sie mich neulich besuchen kam, wollte ich sie mit etwas Leckerem überraschen und habe mich, weil ja bald Weihnachten ist, für Spekulatius entschieden. Da ich nicht wollte, dass jeder seine „eigenen“ Kekse isst, haben wir dann zusammen die glutenfreien genascht. Ich muss zugeben, ich hatte geschmacklich nicht viel erwartet und war dann umso erstaunter, wie lecker sie sind. Nicht so süß aber schön weihnachtlich gewürzt. Auch meiner Bekannten haben sie gut geschmeckt. Sie hat sich gleich nach der Marke erkundigt und wird die Kekse nun auch einmal selbst bestellen.
