Most of Werz's products taste really good, not only for gluten-free foods, but in general. The carob bar is also great again. The dough of the pastry reminds me a little of cereals and whole grains, even though the rice bar does not contain any gluten at all. Its consistency is rather sandy, but the filling with almonds and carob is wonderfully creamy and the icing also contains carob as a chocolate substitute. I particularly like the fact that the bar is not so sweet. With similar products, my mouth always sticks together right away. I highly recommend the biscuits and pastries from Werz, and of course the carob rice bar.

Die meisten Produkte der Firma Werz schmecken richtig gut, nicht nur für glutenfreie Lebensmittel, sondern überhaupt. Auch der Carob Riegel ist wieder prima gelungen. Der Teig des Gebäcks erinnert mich etwas an Getreide und Vollkorn, auch wenn die Reisstange gar kein Gluten enthält. Seine Konsistenz ist eher sandig, die Füllung mit Mandeln und Carob dafür wunderbar cremig und auch die Glasur enthält Carob als Schokoladenersatz. Mir gefällt besonders, dass der Riegel nicht so süß ist. Bei ähnlichen Produkten klebt mir immer gleich der Mund zusammen. Ich finde die Kekse und Gebäckstücke von Werz sehr empfehlenswert, natürlich auch die Carob Reisstange.
