Since everyone in my circle of friends has raved about the fabulously good taste of Manuka honey, I now also got myself some. It tastes really good to me, but the taste is quite different from normal honey and, in my opinion, not as sweet. And it still takes a little getting used to. Very far away from orange blossom honey, maybe more comparable to honey from conifers. But I could really get used to it, although it is quite expensive fun.

Da jeder in meinem Freundeskreis von dem sagenhaft guten Geschmack von Manuka-Honig geschwärmt hat, habe ich mir jetzt auch mal einen besorgt. Er schmeckt mir wirklich gut, aber der Geschmack ist schon ganz anders als bei normalem Honig und meiner Meinung nach auch nicht so süß. Und trotzdem auch ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr weit weg von Orangenblütenhonig, vielleicht eher vergleichbar mit Honig aus Nadelhölzern. Ich könnte mich aber echt dran gewöhnen, obwohl es schon ein recht teurer Spaß ist.
