: Review date:In my opinion, these are some of the best potato crisps, they never taste slightly rancid as is always the case with other crisps (baked with sunflower oil). The coconut oil doesn't make them taste like coconut, but simply a little "fresh", if you want to put it that way.
Meiner Ansicht nach sind das mit die besten Kartoffelchips, nie schmecken sie leicht ranzig wie es bei anderen Chips (mit Sonnenblumenöl gebacken) immer einmal der Fall ist. Das Kokosöl lässt sie nicht nach Kokos schmecken, sondern einfach ein wenig "frisch", wenn man das so ausdrücken möchte.

: Review date:Trafo crisps baked in coconut oil - very tasty, great crunch, I added a little salt. Unfortunately, these are now the only crisps I know of that are actually made in a heat-resistant oil. I can safely enjoy these crisps in coconut oil. And no, they do not taste or smell of coconut.
Unfortunately, usually only highly sensitive sunflower oil or other vegetable oils are used for chips, which degenerate when heated. It doesn't matter whether they are organic or not, because unsuitable remains unsuitable. It's a pity that the Trafo company obviously doesn't know this, because all their other chip varieties are - in my opinion - ruined in vegetable oil.
Trafo Kartoffelchips in Kokosöl gebacken - sehr lecker, toll knusprig, ich habe etwas nachgesalzen. Dies sind mittlerweile leider die einzigen mir bekannten Kartoffelchips, die tatsächlich in einem hitzebeständigen Öl hergestellt werden. Diese Kartoffelchips in Kokosöl kann ich unbedenklich genießen. Und nein, sie schmecken und riechen nicht nach Kokos.
Leider werden üblicherweise für Chips meist nur noch hochempfindliches Sonnenblumenöl oder andere Pflanzenöle verwendet, die beim Erhitzen degenerieren. Dabei ist es dann auch völlig egal, ob bio oder nicht, denn ungeeignet bleibt ungeeignet. Schade, dass die Firma Trafo das offenbar nicht weiß, alle anderen Chipssorten von denen werden - meiner Meinung nach - in Pflanzenöl versaut.

Trafo macht wirklich gute Chips. Leider muss auch ich sagen, dass geschmacklich hier etwas nachgebessert werden könnte. Allerdings ist Konsistenz und Knusprigkeit wie von Trafo gewohnt ein anderes Level, als "normale" Chips. Ich habe viel mehr das Gefühl, eine echte gebackene Kartoffelscheibe zu essen. Zusätzlich spricht der Verzicht von Sonnenblumenöl für sich. 4/5 wegen Geschmack, aber der ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache ;)

Die Vielfältigkeit von Trafo-Chips ist ja riesig. Werde ich eine Weile brauchen, mich da durchzukosten. Habe aber gerade erst angefangen. Bin jetzt bei den Kartoffelchips mit Kokosöl gelandet. Ich mag Kartoffelchips, ich mag Dinge, die in Kokosöl gebacken oder gebraten werden. Doch diese Kombination holt es mich geschmacklich nicht so richtig ab. Aber es gibt ja noch einiges zu Auswahl.

Diese Chips schecken nicht nur hervorragend, es sind auch so ziemlich die einzigen, die nicht im Sonnenblumenöl frittiert werden. Da ich Sonnenblumenöl möglichst meide (sehr schlechtes Verhältnis von omega 3 zu omega 6 und sollte eigentlich nicht erhitzt werden), bin ich richtig glücklich über die Trafo Chips!
