The full-bodied flavours of untreated juniper berries were the deciding factor. Coriander, lemon peel, angelica root, ginger, lavender blossom, cubeb pepper and other botanicals are added, so that a total of 13 selected herbs and spices provide the spicy, fresh flavour. As a typical Bavarian characteristic of origin, two specific botanicals in particular emphasise its place of origin: hop blossoms and malt.
