I too will not buy this product again. A sesame aroma is hardly detectable, the paste tastes extremely and persistently bitter.

Auch ich werde dieses Produkt nicht wieder kaufen. Ein Sesam-Aroma ist kaum feststellbar, die Paste schmeckt extrem und anhaltend bitter.

To be honest, I have never understood why tahini is always sold as a spread. I don't find it suitable as a spread at all. But since I knew that beforehand and wanted one for cooking, I was not disappointed. Like the peanut butter I know from TerraSana, you get exactly what you buy here. I use it for hearty sauces, for vegetable pans that lack a little thickness and/or flavour, or for seasoning tofu or seitan (beware! Tahini is very oily and should therefore only be used as a marinade AFTER frying).

Habe ehrlich gesagt noch nie verstanden, warum Tahin immer als Aufstrich verkauft wird. Ich finde es als Aufstrich gar nicht geeignet. Da ich das inzwischen ja aber schon vorher wusste und eines zum Kochen haben wollte, wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Wie auch das Erdnussmus, das ich von TerraSana kenne, bekommt man hier genau, was man kauft. Ich benutze es für deftige Soßen, für Gemüsepfannen, denen etwas Dicke und/oder Geschmack fehlt, oder fürs Würzen von Tofu oder Seitan (Achtung! Tahin ist sehr ölig und sollte dafür daher erst NACH dem anbraten als Marinade verwendet werden).

Tastes a bit rancid, although bought fresh and still has a long shelf life. Probably bad sesame seeds were among them. There should be better quality controls. I will therefore not buy it again.

Schmeckt etwas ranzig, obwohl frisch gekauft und noch lange haltbar. Wahrscheinlich waren schlechte Sesamkörner darunter. Es sollten bessere Qualitätskontrollen gemacht werden. Ich werde es deshalb nicht mehr kaufen.
