TerraSana Sushi Nori, 6 pieces. Sushi and sushi nori belong together. These sheets are extra crispy; this is how you easily roll in your favorite filling. Sushi nori is of course mainly intended to make sushi rolls. Rolling rice is not the only way to go though, you can also use them for a Vietnamese (in summer rolls), Mediterranean (with hummus) or a low-carb version (with mashed avocado, sprouts and other fresh greens). This sushi nori is certified organic, which is quite special.

Use to roll sushi or cut into pieces and add to your soup or noodles.

To make sushi rolls:

Place a nori sheet on your sushi mat, with the shiny side down.
Cover with a thin layer of cooled sushi rice. Leave 5 cm horizontally at the top of the sheet.
Place the filling in a horizontal strip in the centre of the sheet.
Use the sushi mat to roll a tight roll, keeping the vegetables in the middle. Roll upwards so that the free space of the sheet is away from you.
Wet the free part of the sheet with a little water, so that you can close it well.
Remove the roll from the bamboo mat. Cut into 6-8 pieces with a slightly damp sharp knife.

Nori is naturally rich in iodine, excessive consumption can lead to thyroid dysfunction. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommends a maximum intake of 0.6 mg iodine per day for adults. The recommended maximum use of dried nori is 15 g/day (=6 sheets). It is recommended that seaweed is used a maximum of 2-3 times per week. Preparation and use should be strictly according to the instructions.
