Spielberger Organic Spelt Semolina

Spielberger Organic Spelt Semolina. Spelt semolina is sieved during grinding the spelt grain. It is a wholesome product because it contains parts of the husks and the germ. It is suitable for preparing semolina porridge, pudding, dumplings, casseroles and semolina slices.
Basic recipe: semolina flummery
Stir 40 g spelt semolina, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 1 tbsp sugar into 250 ml boiling milk. Simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring. Take from the cooker and stir in 1 egg yolk and 1 tbsp butter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour into lightly greased moulds and allow to cool down for at least 2-3 hours. Remove and serve, with fruit sauce for example.

My mum used to make me a wheat semolina here and there and suddenly, after ages, I fancied it. Spielberger's spelt semolina appealed to me because of his review and what can I say, it's so delicious. I made it with oat milk, but I'm sure it's just as good with milk. I would describe its flavour as pleasant, more aromatic and complex than wheat semolina. I'll definitely be buying it again.

Von meiner Mutter bekam ich hier und da einen Weizengrieß gemacht und plötzlich nach Ewigkeiten hatte ich Lust darauf. Der Dinkelgries von Spielberger hat mich aufgrund seiner Rezension angelacht und was soll ich sagen, der ist sowas von lecker. Ich habe ihn mit Hafermilch zubereitet, aber mit Milch ist er bestimmt genauso fein. Ich würde seinen Geschmack als angenehm bezeichnen, aromatischer und komplexer als Weizengrieß. Den kaufe ich sicher wieder.
