Spielberger Rote Linsen Bratlinge. Enjoy vegan patties made from red lentils, corn couscous and vegetables, refined with a delicious spice mix. The patties are versatile and easy to prepare. All you have to do is add water to the ready mix, form flat patties and fry them until golden brown.
Preparation of 6-8 red lentil patties:
Preparation time: approx. 15 minutes
Soaking time: 10 minutes
Preparation: Pour the contents of the packet into a bowl and mix with 150 ml boiling water. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. Form 6-8 patties with wet hands, depending on size. Fry in a pan with plenty of oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove and place briefly on a plate with kitchen paper.
The red lentil patties are delicious hot or cold. Serve with salad and yoghurt dip.
Variations:
- Finger food - shape the mixture into sticks about the thickness of a thumb, roll in sesame seeds and fry on all sides. Serve with dip.
- Stuffed vegetables - stuff vegetables such as courgettes or peppers with the mixture and bake in the oven.
