Basic recipe for polenta:
Bring 2 cups of vegetable stock to the boil, stir in 1 cup of polenta. Allow to swell over very low heat for 15-20 minutes. If necessary, stir in an egg afterwards.
For polenta slices, use a little less liquid (approx. 1.5 cups).
