I think it's very possible that the word "soothe" can be traced back to the lime tree. It's a mystery to me how I could give lime blossom tea a wide berth for such a long time of my life.
But ok, now I've arrived. I have taken to coating my face and hands with the used, damp tea bags. Simply because they smell and feel so good (a bit slippery). And - maybe I'm just imagining it - it makes pimples heal faster and blemishes disappear. In any case, the hands smell heavenly lovely afterwards and the skin is softer and softer.

Jedenfalls riechen die Hände danach himmlisch lieblich und die Haut ist zarter, weicher.
