Although I don't have any problems with gluten, I was curious and really wanted to try the crispy bread. So I ordered it from my favourite shop, Violey. Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all. The crispbread is dry as dust. It doesn't taste like anything to me. When I chewed it, I needed a lot of saliva to be able to swallow the bread at all. I really feel sorry for people with gluten intolerance if they have to resort to such products. It no longer has anything to do with enjoyment. For me, the crispy bread Dunkel failed with flying colours. I cannot recommend it at all and therefore give it only one star.

Obwohl ich keine Probleme mit Gluten habe, war ich neugierig und wollte das Knusperbrot unbedingt einmal probieren. Ich habe es mir deswegen in meinem Lieblingsshop Violey bestellt. Leider hat es mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Das Knäcke ist staubtrocken. Mir schmeckt es nach gar nichts. Beim Kauen benötigte ich zudem Unmengen an Speichel, um das Brot überhaupt schlucken zu können. Mir tun die Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit wirklich sehr leid, wenn sie nur auf solche Produkte zurückgreifen können. Das hat nichts mehr mit Genuss zu tun. Bei mir ist das Knusperbrot Dunkel mit Karacho durchgefallen. Ich kann es überhaupt nicht empfehlen und gebe daher nur einen Stern.

I try to eat gluten-free for the most part because I don't tolerate wheat very well. That's why I ordered the crispbread. But it's not an alternative to normal crispbread for me in terms of taste. It is nice and crunchy and relatively stable, but it tastes very bland. So I'm always forced to put lots of toppings on it so that it still tastes good. My favourite is cream cheese or horseradish with salmon or chives. Maybe I'll get used to my new bread, but so far I'm not very enthusiastic about it. That's why I'm only giving the dark crusty bread three out of five stars.

Ich versuche mich größtenteils glutenfrei zu ernähren, weil ich Weizen nicht besonders gut vertrage. Habe mir deshalb auch das Knusperbrot bestellt. Geschmacklich ist das für mich aber keine Alternative zu „normalem“ Knäckebrot. Es ist zwar schön knusprig und auch relativ stabil, schmeckt aber sehr fade. So bin ich immer gezwungen ganz viel Belag drauf zu legen, damit es mir trotzdem schmeckt. Am Liebsten Frischkäse oder Meerrettich mit Lachs oder Schnittlauch. Vielleicht gewöhne ich mich ja noch an mein neues Brot, aber bisher kann es mich noch nicht sehr begeistern. Deshalb gibt es für das dunkle Knusperbrot auch nur drei von fünf Sternen.

I like to eat the gluten-free crispy bread often. Anyway, I think that most of the baked goods from the Schär company are good. As a coeliac, my choice is rather limited, so I'm all the more pleased when I find a delicious bread. The crispbread is crunchy and crispy and contains valuable vitamins and minerals. Due to its neutral taste, it goes well with both sweet and hearty bread toppings. But you can also simply nibble the crispbread on its own. I particularly like the version with cream cheese and cucumber. I think the crispy bread is really tasty and can highly recommend it, especially to all coeliacs. Definitely give it a try.

Ich esse das glutenfreie Knusperbrot gerne und häufig. Sowieso finde ich die Backwaren der Firma Schär größtenteils gut gelungen. Als Zöli ist meine Auswahl ja eher begrenzt, da freut man sich umso mehr, wenn man mal ein leckeres Brot gefunden hat. Das Knäckebrot ist knusprig kross und enthält wertvolle Vitamine sowie Mineralien. Durch den neutralen Geschmack passt es sowohl zu süßem als auch zu deftigem Brotbelag. Man kann das Knusperbrot aber auch ganz einfach pur knabbern. Besonders gut schmeckt mir die Variante mit Frischkäse und Gurke. Ich jedenfalls finde das Knusperbrot total lecker und kann es, besonders allen Zölis, sehr empfehlen. Unbedingt mal ausprobieren.
