Savon du Midi Karité Soap Wild Rose has a strong flowery sweet scent. Like all other vegetable oil soaps from Savon du Midi, the Karité soaps are made by small soap manufacturers in Provence, France. The traditional expertise of the art of soap making, often passed down orally over generations, make this soap so special. Treat yourself to a piece of Provence.
The karité soap owes its name to the karité butter it contains, which is also known as shea butter. This is the vegetable fat obtained from the fruits of the karité tree (aka. shea tree). Because of its moisturizing qualities, shea butter has been used for skin care in Africa for centuries. The addition of shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) makes soap softer and skin cleansing more gentle.

I have been using and giving away Savon du Midi soap bars for over 10 years. Most of the varieties smell very intense and care for the skin well. This time I gave them away for Christmas, together with organic cotton towels. 11 sets, all with different scents, were very well received.

Ich benutze und verschenke Seifenstücke von Savon du Midi bereits seid über 10 Jahren. Die meisten Sorten riechen sehr intensiv und pflegen die Haut gut. Diesmal habe ich sie zu Weihnachten verschenkt, zusammen mit Bio-Baumwoll Handtüchern. 11 Sets alle mit unterschiedlichem Duft, kam hervorragend an.
