The karité soap owes its name to the karité butter it contains, which is also known as shea butter. This is the vegetable fat obtained from the fruits of the karité tree (aka. shea tree). Because of its moisturizing qualities, shea butter has been used for skin care in Africa for centuries. The addition of shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) makes soap softer and skin cleansing more gentle.

I have been a fan of the soaps ever since I received a trial package as a gift (you can find that here, too). Sweet Almond has a subtle scent, but it's very delicious. It gently cleanses the skin and leaves it feeling clean and soft to the touch - just like a good soap should! For the next few years, I will definitely try my way through the countless varieties, which all sound good and have always been so far.

Von den Seifen bin ich ein Fan, seit ich mal ein Probierpaket geschenkt bekommen habe (das gibt es hier auch). Die Süße Mandel hat einen dezenten Duft, der aber sehr sehr lecker ist. Die Haut wird schonend gereinigt und fühlt sich sauber, sowie griffig an - so, wie es sich für eine gute Seife gehört! Ich werde mich für die nächsten paar Jahre definitiv erstmal durch die unzähligen Sorten probieren, die allesamt gut klingen und es bisher auch immer waren.

I love this soap very much. It's mild and has a subtle, understated scent. I like it even more than the rose soap from the same company. I also like its fragrance. I have been buying this soap for years and am very happy to have discovered it in this shop.

Ich liebe diese Seife sehr. Sie ist mild und einen feinen zurückhaltende Duft. Mag noch mehr als die Rosenseife von der selben Firma. Ihr Duft gefällt mir auch. Diese Seife kaufe ich schon seit Jahren und bin ganz glücklich sie in diesem Shop entdeckt zu haben.
