The karité soap owes its name to the karité butter it contains, which is also known as shea butter. This is the vegetable fat obtained from the fruits of the karité tree (aka. shea tree). Because of its moisturizing qualities, shea butter has been used for skin care in Africa for centuries. The addition of shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) makes soap softer and skin cleansing more gentle.

If you want to do something good for your skin, you can't do without natural cosmetics. And what is good for the skin is also good for nature. Apart from that, this soap is wonderful. It has a great scent, a nice fine lather and the skin doesn't feel so dry. I definitely don't feel the urge to put on lotion immediately after washing.

Wer seiner Haut etwas gutes tun will, kommt um Naturkosmetik nicht drumrum. Und was der Haut gut tut, tut auch der Natur gut. Abgesehen davon ist diese Seife wunderbar. Ganz toller Duft, schöner feiner Schaum und die Haut fühlt sich nicht so ausgetrocknet an. Ich habe auf jeden Fall nach dem Waschen nicht sofort den Drang, mich eincremen zu müssen.

I have really sensitive skin. It's hard to find a soap that's good for you. With this soap, nothing itches or tightens. It is really kind to the skin. The scent is also nice. I even wash my hair with it from time to time, it works great.

Ich habe wirklich sehr empfindliche Haut. Da ist es schwer, eine Seife zu finden, die einem gut tut. Mit dieser Seife juckt und spannt nichts mehr. Sie ist wirklich sehr hautverträglich. Der Duft ist auch nett. Ab und zu wasche ich mir sogar die Haare damit, klappt super.
