Savon du Midi Karité Soap Lime. The scent of lime is sweet, fresh and wonderfully summerly. Like all other vegetable oil soaps from Savon du Midi, the Karité soaps are made by small soap manufacturers in Provence, France. The traditional expertise of the art of soap making, often passed down orally over generations, make this soap so special. Treat yourself to a piece of Provence.
The karité soap owes its name to the karité butter it contains, which is also known as shea butter. This is the vegetable fat obtained from the fruits of the karité tree (aka. shea tree). Because of its moisturizing qualities, shea butter has been used for skin care in Africa for centuries. The addition of shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) makes soap softer and skin cleansing more gentle.

I love Savon du Midi Karité soaps. They are the perfect size, the ingredients are good and they smell just heavenly. My favourite so far is verbena. But Linde also has a nice fresh scent that I've never had on a soap or shower gel.

It is my favourite soap for the body, especially the Linde scent. I hardly use shower gel any more. My skin doesn't dry out at all anymore. I use body milk or oil after the shower. The scent of the soap also lasts and you feel fresh and cared for.
