Savon du Midi Karité Soap Cinnamon Orange has a fruity, sweet scent accompanied by a subtle spicy note. Like all other vegetable oil soaps from Savon du Midi, the Karité soaps are made by small soap manufacturers in Provence, France. The traditional expertise of the art of soap making, often passed down orally over generations, make this soap so special. Treat yourself to a piece of Provence.
The karité soap owes its name to the karité butter it contains, which is also known as shea butter. This is the vegetable fat obtained from the fruits of the karité tree (aka. shea tree). Because of its moisturizing qualities, shea butter has been used for skin care in Africa for centuries. The addition of shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) makes soap softer and skin cleansing more gentle.

Overall, I am quite happy with the soap. It smells very tempting, like cinnamon. However, the scent doesn't last too long when you wash your hands with it.

Insgesamt bin ich auch ganz zufrieden mit der Seife. Sie riecht wirklich sehr verlockend nach Zimt. Der Duft hält allerdings nicht allzu lange an, wenn man sich die Hände damit wäscht.

A Christmasy, "warm" soap, with a wonderful scent of cinnamon and orange. However, due to the cinnamoniness, I would rather buy it again in the cold months.

I am completely infatuated with the smell of this soap! It lingers on the skin for a while and the bath is scented at the same time. The care effect is also good for the price (of course not to be compared with handmade soaps) and I will definitely buy it again as a cheap alternative.

Ich bin ganz vernarrt in den Geruch dieser Seife!!! Er hält sich ein Weilchen auf der Haut und das Bad wird nebenbei gleich mit beduftet. Die Pflegewirkung ist für den Preis auch gut (natürlich nicht mir handgesiedetenm Seifen zu vergleichen) und ich werde sie definitv als günstige Alternative wieder kaufen.
