Content of the package: 1 tube of color cream (55 ml), 1 bottle of developing solution (55 ml), 1 bottle of revitalizing balm (15 ml), 1 pair of gloves, 1 instruction manual.
- The contents of the color cream tube are mixed well with the developing solution in the Sanotint Coloring Bowl in equal parts (1:1). Put on the gloves afterwards.
- Apply the color mixture with the Sanotint Coloring Brush to the dry (or slightly dry) hair.
- Allow the color to act for 30 minutes. In case of coloring the hairline, the reaction time is 20 minutes at first. Subsequently, the color mixture is applied to the lengths and tips and the reaction time is extended by a further 10 minutes. The manufacturer recommends covering the hair with a foil and an old towel during the coloring period.
- After the reaction time, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and then wash the hair thoroughly with a shampoo (Sanotint Color Shampoo).
- After slightly drying the hair, add the Sanotint revitalizing balm to give your hair more color brilliance and good combability after coloring.

Each hair is individual in its structure and reacts differently to colors. For example, your initial hair color determines the color result. Before you begin, check the hair color of your desired hair color by means of a sample. This is very easy with Sanotint, since even small quantities can be mixed ready for use.
The Sanotint nuances 1-30 are intermixable. Note that you should only mix colors with the same color depth. A coverage of the hair during the reaction time is not necessary with the nuances 87 and 88. The Sanotint nuances 73-86 can be mixed with each other. The nuances 87 and 88 should only be mixed with the colors 76, 79, 85 and 86.
If your hair is very thick or longer than chin-lenght, you may need two packs to achieve a satisfactory color result.

: Review date:The consistency of Sanotint's hair colours is great to apply. Unfortunately, no developer bottle is included, but an old Tupperware bowl will do. Therefore, you also need a colour brush to apply the colour. The colour itself lasts on the hair more like an intensive tint, not like a colour! It washes out conditionally, i.e. colour residues remain, but in a washed-out look. Sanotint Forest Berry covers grey roots well. If you have thick or longer hair (from shoulder length), you definitely need two colour packs! Personally, I find the packaging design and colour choice of the product (piss yellow) absolutely wrong, it rather reminds of a product for callus control or similar. But that is a matter of opinion. Furthermore, there are no colour examples on the packaging. If you want to know what to apply to your head, you have to go online to Sanotint, but even there you only find small, insufficient colour buttons.
Conclusion: If you like to try out a blue colour and are looking for an intensive shade, this is the right choice. However, if you are looking for a high-quality, long-lasting vegetable colour at this steep price and also expect certain service items inside the package, you will be disappointed here and should invest your money in another manufacturer.
Die Haarfarben von Sanotint lassen sich von der Konsistenz her super auftragen, leider wird keine Entwicklerflasche mitgeliefert, aber eine alte Tupperschale tut es aus. Daher braucht man auch zusätzlich einen Farbpinsel zum auftragen. Die Farbe an sich hält auf dem Haar eher wie eine Intensivtönung, nicht wie eine Farbe! Sie wäscht sich nach und nach bedingt aus, d.h. Farbreste bleiben schon, aber halt im ausgewaschenen Look. Sanotint Waldbeere deckt Grauansätze gut ab. Wer dicke oder längere Haare (ab Schulterlang) hat, braucht unbedingt zwei Farbpackungen! Ich persönlich finde außerdem das Verpackungsdesign und Farbwahl des Produkts (Pissgelb) absolut daneben, es erinnert eher an ein Produkt für Hornhautbekämpfung o.ä. Aber das ist Ansichtssache. Weiterhin, findet man auf den Verpackungen keine Farbbeispiele. Wer wissen möchte was er sich auf den Kopf aufträgt, muss schon bei Sanotint online gehen, allerdings findet man auch dort nur kleine unausreichende Farbbuttons.
Fazit: wer gerne mal ins Blaue ausprobiert und eher eine Intensivtönung sucht, ist hier richtig. Wer aber bei dem stolzen Preis eine hochwertige langzeitfärbende Pflanzenfarbe sucht und auch gewisse Serviceartikel innerhalb der Packung erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht und sollte sein Geld in einen anderen Hersteller investieren.
