Salus Tea for Colds Tisane No. 34a filled into tea bags. The medicinal tea contains lime blossom, elderflower and willow bark, amongst other ingredients. To drink after preparing a tea brew and for use in case of feverish colds where a sweating cure is desired.

Application:

Douse 1 tea bag with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), cover and allow to infuse for about 10 minutes. Then remove the filter bag.
Unless otherwise prescribed, drink one cup of freshly brewed tea several times a day.

Applications:
Febrile colds where a sweating cure is desired.

Duration of use:
If the symptoms persist for more than 1 week while taking Tea for Colds Tisane No. 34a, a doctor or other qualified person working in a healing profession should be consulted.

Warnings and precautions for use:
In case of shortness of breath, high fever (> 39 °C), purulent or bloody sputum, if the cold is accompanied by severe headache or if the symptoms worsen, a doctor or another qualified person working in a healing profession should be consulted.
The simultaneous use of Tea for Colds Tisane No. 34a and other salicylate-containing preparations or other non-steroidal inflammation inhibitors is not recommended without medical consultation.

Ingredients/INCI:

1 filter bag (2.0 g) contains as active ingredients:
0.8 g lime blossoms*
0.4 g elderflowers*
0.4 g of willow bark*

Other ingredients:
Bitter fennel*, blackberry leaves*, rosehip peels*, liquorice root*
* From certified organic farming.

Additional Information:

For use in adults. The tea must not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Due to insufficient data, the use of Tea for Colds Tisane No. 34a is not recommended in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy and during breastfeeding. It is not indicated for use in the third trimester.

Contraindications:
Tea for Colds Tisane No. 34a must not be taken:
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the active ingredients, to any of the other ingredients or to preparations from the umbelliferae (Apiaceae) family (anise, caraway, celery, coriander, dill).
- if you are hypersensitive to salicylates or to other non-steroidal inflammation inhibitors, e.g. if you have had a reaction to taking salicylates or other non-steroidal inflammation inhibitors in the past with angioedema, bronchial spasms or chronic hives.
- if you have asthma.
- if you have acute or chronic stomach and/or duodenal ulcer.
- if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction, coagulation disorders or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.

Interactions with other remedies:
Willow bark may increase the effect of agents that reduce the blood's ability to clot (anticoagulants, e.g. coumarin derivatives).

Side effects:
Like all medicines, Cold Tea Herbal Tea No. 34a may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects are: Allergic reactions of the respiratory tract and skin, gastrointestinal complaints (e.g. nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain). The frequency of occurrence of the side effects is not known.
