Cistus tea:
Pour 1 litre of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of the cistus tea and allow to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes. The tea can be refined with honey and lemon.

Cistus brew:
Pour half a litre to 1 litre of water over 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cistus tea and bring to a boil. Allow to cool down for 5 minutes and strain.

I know the plant and the tea from travelling to Greece. Unfortunately, I had to dispose of this product as the contents in no way met my expectations. Instead of dry, hard and dark pieces of herb, there was a woolly, light green substance and a sour, bitter flavour - something had gone wrong here. Was the tea harvested when unripe? Too bad, I bought the same product a few years ago and was satisfied.

Ich kenne die Pflanze und den Tee aus Reisen nach Griechenland. Dieses Produkt musste ich leider entsorgen, da der Inhalt in keiner Weise den Erwartungen entsprach. Statt trockenen, harten und dunklen Krautstücken eine wollige, hellgrüne Substanz, ein saurer, bitterer Geschmack - irgendetwas ist hier schiefgelaufen. Wurde der Tee im unreifen Zustand geerntet? Schade, hatte das gleiche Produkt vor einigen Jahren gekauft und war zufrieden.
