Salus Organic Bach Flower Tea

:

Those who are interested in natural products, cannot get past Bach flowers.

There are Bach flower products such as chewing gums, sweets, pastilles, creams and lotions. But what exactly are Bach flowers? Contrary to the German name, it is not about plants that can be found on the banks of a stream. The Bach flowers owe their name to the English physician Dr. Edward Bach. In the beginning of the 1930s he developed the Bach flower therapy as an alternative treatment procedure. Edward Bach assumed that physical and mental well-being are in close accord. He was convinced that physical illnesses would be based on mental balance disorders. A harmonization on the mental-spiritual level would thus encourage healing. Bach was therefore looking for a way to restore this inner balance for his patients. His declared goal was to find a way to prevent diseases from occurring. In the treatment of his patients Bach paid more attention to their state of mind than to the classical symptoms.

Bach divided the negative moods into seven main groups: anxiety, insecurity, lack of interest in the present, solitude, hypersensitivity, discouragement and excessive concerns about others. On this basis, he extended his system to ”38 disharmonic states of mind of human nature.“ Bach tried to harmonize those states with 38 essences. These are 37 flower essences and an essence of pure mountain spring water (Rock Water). The energetic vibrations of the flower essences shall help to solve blockades and restore the inner balance. It was not the healing effect of the ingredients that was decisive for Edward Bach in the selection of the flowers, but the vibrational energy of the plants. Edward Bach was convinced that the energies of the plants would be helpful for humans. In connection with the Bach flower therapy, the names of the plants are still stated in Dr. Bach's mother tongue English. Among the selected flowers, you find Mustard, Beech, Oak, Agrimony, Wild Rose, Larch or Vine. Each selected flower essence should help to overcome a certain state of mind. Sweet Chestnut, for example, is recommended by Edward Bach in case of absolute despair, for example after the separation from a partner or a job loss. The blossoms of Larch, on the other hand, are intended to strengthen self-confidence and to help with feelings of inferiority, excessive fear of misery and shyness.

In order to preserve the energy of the plants in their essences, Bach developed the ”cooking method“ and the ”sun method“. Flowers that bloom in summer are placed in spring water. Through the power of the sun, the flower energy is supported in passing over to the water. In the case of early blossoming plants, the sun does not yet have the necessary strength. The flowers are boiled and filtered. Both versions are preserved with alcohol. Although no effectiveness of the Bach flower therapy has been demonstrated to date in clinical studies of conventional medicine, many naturopaths build upon the gentle support of the body's self-healing powers. No side effects are known. In case of serious illness or life danger, of course, a doctor should be consulted.
