Application:
Shake before use. Adults take the contents of 1-2 small bottles 3 times a day. Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir is taken before or with meals.
Warnings and precautions for use:
Please only take the herbal bitter after consulting your doctor, if you are known to suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. During use, intensive UV exposure (e.g. long sunbathing sessions, solariums) should be avoided, as the herbal bitter contains bitter orange peel whose ingredients make the skin more sensitive to light.
Duration of use:
Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks. The user should consult a doctor or another person qualified in a medical profession, if symptoms persist or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur.
Ingredients/INCI:
10 ml of liquid (10.85 g) contain as active ingredient:
8.9 g extract (1: 10.6–13.0) from 693 mg of a mixture of: artichoke leaves, gentian root, curcuma rootstock, dandelion herb with root, ginger rootstock, yarrow, bitter fennel fruits, camomile blossoms, bitter orange peels, St. Benedict's herb, cardamoms, wormwood (41.5:11.8:8.5:7.2:5.9:5.8:5.8:4.3:4.3:2.1:1.0:1.0:0.57), extracting agent: water.
Other ingredients: fructose.
Additional Information:
Children and adolescents under 18 years of age must not take Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir.
The herbal bitter must not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding period.
Do not store the bottle above 25 °C.
Contraindications:
Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir must not be taken in the following cases:
If you are known to be hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the active ingredients, to other composite herbs such as mugwort, to umbelliferas such as anise, caraway, celery, coriander and dill, to anethole (contained in fennel) or to the other ingredient fructose.
If you have stomach or duodenal ulcers, gallstones, obstruction or inflammation of the bile ducts, other bile duct disorders and liver disease.
If you have or have had a hormone-dependent tumour in the past.
Interactions with other medicines:
Interactions with other medicines are not known. Studies with Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir on interactions with other medicinal products have not been carried out. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional if you are taking or using, or have recently taken or used, any other medicinal products, including medicinal products obtained without a prescription.
Side effects:
Like all medicines, Gallexier Herbal Bitter Elixir may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects might be:
Allergic reactions or stomach pain may occur after prolonged use. Headaches may also occur. The occurrence of sunburn-like skin reactions cannot be ruled out in the case of prolonged exposure to the sun or UV radiation. The frequency of these side effects cannot be estimated on the basis of the available data.

: Review date:I swear by the Salus Gallexier herbal bitters. The 3 small mini versions are ideal portion sizes for me. I often have a feeling of fullness, especially after a meal. Then I drink a Gallexier, which stimulates digestion and promotes my well-being. For me, this is a great herbal remedy that does not require the addition of alcohol.
