Application:

Adults and adolescents from 12 years take 1 - 1.5 ml in a measuring cup 3 times a day after meals with some liquid, preferably water. It is not intended for use in children under 12 years.
Patients with liver and/or kidney dysfunction: There are no sufficient data for specific dosage recommendations in the case of impaired kidney or liver function.

Duration of use:
The medicinal product should not be taken for longer than 10 days.
The user should consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur.

If you have taken a larger amount of Echinacea Drops than you should:
So far, no case of overdose has been reported. However, taking larger quantities of the medicinal product may lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in young children. In this case, there is a danger to life, which is why a doctor should be consulted immediately. When the entire contents of the bottle (100 ml) are ingested, approx. 40 g of alcohol are absorbed.
Please note a possible effect on the ability to drive and operate machines. It is possible that the side effects listed below occur more frequently when taking excessive amounts of Echinacea Drops.

What should you be aware of before taking Echinacea Drops?
Echinacea Drops must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to echinacea, other composite plants or any of the other ingredients of Echinacea Drops.

Warnings and precautions:
Use is not recommended in progressive diseases affecting the whole organism, autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency, immunosuppression and diseases of the white blood cell system.
In the event of a cold, a doctor should be consulted if the symptoms persist for longer than a week, if there is shortness of breath, fever or purulent sputum. In general, a doctor should be consulted if infections in the respiratory tract recur frequently. There is a possible risk of allergic reactions in sensitive persons and a possible risk of severe allergic (anaphylactic) reactions in neurodermatitis patients. Sensitive persons and neurodermatitis patients should therefore consult their doctor before using Echinacea Drops.

Pregnancy and nursing period:
The safety during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been adequately studied. For this reason and due to the alcohol content, the use of Echinacea Drops is not recommended for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Ingredients/INCI:

100 ml (96.35 g) of liquid for oral intake contain as active substance: 100 ml of extract of coneflower root (DER 1 : 3.5 - 6.5), extractant: ethanol 96 % (v/v) / liqueur wine (1 : 1.5) (liqueur wine produced with the addition of sulphur dioxide).

Shake before use.
Do not store above 25 °C.
This medicinal product contains 50 % alcohol by volume and sulphur dioxide. If the dosage instructions are observed, up to 0.7 g of alcohol are added per 1.5 ml taken.
There is a health risk, among others, in liver patients, alcoholics, epileptics, patients with organic diseases of the brain, pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.
The effect of other medicines may be impaired or increased.

Side effects:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Possible side effects: The occurrence of hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. skin rash, itching, facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness, drop in blood pressure) is possible. The frequency of occurrence of the side effects is not known.
Other possible side effects: The sulphur dioxide contained may rarely cause hypersensitivity reactions and spasm of the airways (bronchospasm).
