Salus Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8. The loose medicinal tea consists of various herbs such as bitter fennel fruit, thyme or Iceland moss. The bronchial tea is prepared as a tea infusion and may ease expectoration during colds if taken regularly.

Application:

Pour boiling water (about 150 ml) over 1 teaspoon full of tea (approx. 1.6 g) and leave to infuse covered for 5-10 minutes. Then strain the tea. Unless otherwise prescribed, drink one cup of tea 4-6 times daily, preferably hot.

If you have accidentally taken double or triple the daily dose (equivalent to 8 to 18 cups of Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8), this does not usually have any adverse consequences.
If you have taken too little Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 or have forgotten to take it, do not take twice the amount the next time, but continue to take it as prescribed by your doctor or as described in the package information leaflet.

Applications:
Traditionally used to support the expectoration of mucus in the respiratory tract. To facilitate coughing up during colds. The medicinal product is a traditional medicinal product which is registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use in the area of application. Warnings and precautions for use:
If symptoms persist for more than one week and if shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum occurs, a doctor should be consulted. Caution is advised in patients with inflammatory stomach diseases (gastritis, stomach ulcers). Ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicine. Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been not adequately studied. The use of Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 is not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers.

9.4 g Iceland moss, cut

3.4 g White deadnettle blossoms, cut
3.4 g mullein blossoms, cut

Raspberry leaves, cut.

Additional Information:

For use in adults and children over 12 years of age. There are no adequate studies available on the use of Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Contraindications and interactions with other medicines:
You must not take Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 if you are known to be hypersensitive (allergic) to thyme, fennel fruit as well as plants of the umbelliferous family (anise, caraway, celery, coriander, dill), anethole, lime blossom, knotgrass, Iceland moss, primrose blossom, white deadnettle blossom or mullein and if you suffer from asthma. Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 must not be taken by children with acute obstructive laryngitis (inflammation of the larynx).
No interactions of Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 with other medicinal products have been reported. Studies on possible interactions of Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 with other medicinal products are not available. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or using, or have recently taken or used, any other medicinal products, including medicinal products obtained without a prescription.

Side effects:
There are no reports of side effects for Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8.
The following side effects have been reported with other preparations containing preparations of bitter fennel, primrose or thyme:
- Hypersensitivity reactions/allergic reactions of the skin and respiratory tract may occur.
- Isolated cases of anaphylactic shock and Quincke's oedema (allergic painful swelling of the skin and mucous membranes, especially in the facial area) have been reported with thyme-containing preparations.
- Due to the content of primrose, stomach complaints and nausea may occur.
The frequency of these side effects cannot be estimated on the basis of the available data.
If side effects occur, stop taking Bronchial Tea Tisane No. 8 and consult a doctor. If you experience swelling of the face, mouth and/or throat or allergic reactions of the respiratory tract, acute shortness of breath, consult a doctor immediately.
