: Review date:When I discovered the lemon marmalade here, it was ordered straight away. I had never had lemon marmalade before and was curious about the taste. I already know other jams from Rigoni di Asiago, which taste good to me. Unfortunately, that is not the case with this one. First of all, it has to be said that the jam contains more apple juice than lemons. The lemons account for thirty percent. There are no additional sweeteners. The smell is quite sour, similar to lemon juice. The taste, however, is much sweeter than expected and somehow has a strange, indefinable aftertaste. It probably comes from the apple juice. The jam also contains small pieces of lemon, but it does not taste like an authentic fruit at all.
Als ich hier die Zitronenmarmelade entdeckt habe, wurde diese gleich bestellt. Ich hatte bisher noch nie Zitronenmarmelade gegessen und war neugierig auf den Geschmack. Kenne bereits andere Marmeladen von Rigoni di Asiago, die mir gut schmecken. Das ist bei dieser leider nicht so. Zunächst einmal ist zu sagen, dass die Marmelade mehr Apfelsaft als Zitronen enthält. Die Zitronen sind mit einem Anteil von dreißig Prozent vertreten. Zusätzliche Süßungsmittel gibt es nicht. Der Geruch ist recht sauer, ähnlich wie Zitronensaft. Der Geschmack ist aber viel süßer als erwartet und hat irgendwie einen seltsamen, nicht näher definierbaren Nebengeschmack. Wahrscheinlich kommt der durch den Apfelsaft. Die Marmelade enthält auch kleine Zitronenstückchen, schmeckt aber überhaupt nicht nach einer authentischen Frucht.

Einfach köstlich. Wer Zitrusfrüchte mag, liegt mit dieser Marmelade bestimmt nicht verkehrt. Die Konsistenz ist wie bei Orangenmarmelade, der Geschmack frisch und zitronig. Passt für meinen Geschmack auch gut zu manchen Käsesorten.
