Application:
Wash the rice two to three times.
Place the rice in a saucepan or the inner pot of the rice cooker with the appropriate rice to water ratio.
In the saucepan: 1 rice: 1.5 water. Bring the whole thing to a boil on the highest setting of the stove. Then simmer on medium for 20 minutes.
In the rice cooker: 1 rice: 1.25 water. Select mode and start cooking process.
Fluff up the rice and serve.
