Application:
Wash the beans and soak in plenty of cold water for 8-12 hours. Then drain the water and rinse the beans. Bring 1 cup of jumbo beans to the boil once with about 3 cups of fresh water and then simmer gently for about 60-90 minutes at a low temperature with the lid on. Only add salt after cooking.
