: Review date:Dried tomatoes that bring that light southern, strong aromatic touch to home dishes - that can't be so hard to find, can it? Unfortunately it is. I searched and tasted for a while until I found Rapunzel's dried, brown-red tomatoes. I was immediately convinced. Neither the conventional oil-pickled tomatoes in a jar nor the anti-pasti version in a plastic bowl corresponded to what I imagined as extensively sun-ripened, aromatically spicy dried tomatoes. Even though the Rapunzel tomatoes are only available in 100g, I am blown away by their ripeness of flavour and can only warmly recommend them.
Getrocknete Tomaten, die den leichten südländischen, kräftig aromatischen Touch in die heimischen Gerichte bringen - das kann doch nicht so schwer sein zu finden? Leider doch. Ich habe eine Weile gesucht und probiert, bis ich die getrockneten, braun-roten Tomaten von Rapunzel gefunden habe. Ich war sofort überzeugt. Weder von den konventionellen in Öl eingelegten im Glas noch die Anti-Pasti Variante in der Plastikschüssel entsprachen dem, was ich mir unter ausgiebig sonnengereiften, aromatisch würzigen Trockentomaten vorgestellt habe. Auch wenn es die Rapunzel Tomaten nur in der 100g gibt, so bin ich hin und weg von deren Geschmacksreife und kann diese nur wärmstens empfehlen.
