: Review date:The Californian almonds are bigger and prettier than those from Spain, but also much harder. However, as I soak them for a long time anyway, I don't mind the hardness.

: Review date:Simply delicious! I always buy European almonds from Rapunzel. However, the last time I bought them, they contained a lot of bitter almonds, so the pack was inedible. The almonds were also very small. This may all be due to the extreme heat and drought in the harvesting countries. I therefore switched to the Californian almonds and am delighted. Large, firm and crunchy! Sweet and flavoursome too.
Einfach nur köstlich! Eigentlich kaufe ich immer die europäischen Mandeln von Rapunzel. Bei diesen waren aber beim letzten Kauf extrem viele bittere Mandeln beinhaltet, so dass die Packung ungenießbar war. Die Mandeln waren auch sehr klein. Möglicherweise ist dies alles auf die extreme Hitze und Trockenheit in den Ernteländern zurückzuführen. Daher bin ich zu den kalifornischen Mandeln gewechselt und bin begeistert. Groß, fest und knackig! Dazu süß und aromatisch.

Es gibt kaum ein Produkt, was sich flexibler verwenden lässt als diese Mandeln. Sie schmecken sehr lecker und sind wirklich wunderbar süß. Ich esse sie sehr gerne und häufig. Verarbeiten lassen sie sich wunderbar. Hilfreich waren mir am Anfang die wunderbaren Rezeptipps, die Violey mir gab. Mittlerweile habe ich ein bisschen gesucht und viele andere Rezepte gefunden, in denen ich die Mandeln auch gerne verwende. Sie gehören bei mir zum Kochen einfach dazu.
