: Review date:I usually cook the beans in chillies etc., so there is usually not much to see of the beautiful pattern and colour. Their flavour is top notch. You should have them on your shopping list.
Ich verkoche die Bohnen meist in Chilis etc., daher bleibt von der schönen Musterung und der Farbe meist nicht viel zu sehen. Geschmacklich sind sie allererste Sahne. Sollte man mit auf dem Einkaufszettel haben.

: Review date:I always associate Borlotti beans with Italian cuisine, because they are typically found in minestrone. In my opinion, they still taste best in minestrone. But I also like them in soups, stews or salads (e.g. dressed with salt, onions and oil or in a delicious rice salad). The beans from Rapunzel taste great and are quick to prepare. I recommend trying the Borlotti, because always the same kind of beans gets boring in the long run. That's why I order unknown varieties from time to time, because trial and error makes perfect sense and Violey has a huge selection.
Die Borlotti Bohnen verbinde ich eigentlich immer mit der italienischen Küche, denn typischerweise sind sie dort in der Minestrone zu finden. Darin schmecken sie, meiner Meinung nach, auch immer noch am Besten. Ich mag sie aber auch gerne in Suppen, Eintöpfen oder Salaten (z.B. angemacht mit Salz, Zwiebeln und Öl oder zu einem leckeren Reissalat). Die Bohnen von Rapunzel schmecken einwandfrei und sind schnell zubereitet. Ich empfehle, die Borlotti einfach mal zu testen, denn immer die gleiche Sorte Bohnen wird ja auf Dauer auch langweilig. Aus diesem Grund bestelle ich mir hin und wieder unbekannte Sorten, denn Versuch macht klug und Violey hat schließlich eine riesige Auswahl.
