Application:
Wash the beans and soak them in plenty of cold water for 8-12 hours. Then drain the water and rinse the beans. Boil 1 cup of beans with about 3 cups of fresh water once and then simmer gently for about 60 minutes at low temperature with the lid closed. Only add salt after cooking.
