Instructions for use
  1. Prepare - Rinse tray base and sieve with cold water. Put the germinator in a bright, warm place. Avoid direct sunlight.
  2. Rinse - Rinse the seeds well in a sieve under running water before sowing.
  3. Sow - Pour 1 cm of water into the tray base. Scatter a thin layer of seeds on the seed tray.
  4. Water - Immerse the sieve 2-3 times in the fresh water to ensure the seeds are well moistened. Put the sieve on the nubs. The Seeds should now no longer be immersed in the water! Depending on the germinating seed, water 2-3 times a day. 
  5. Harvest - Harvest fresh, crunchy shoots and sprouts 2-10 days later.
  6. Clean - All the objects used must be carefully cleaned (Mini Germinator, sive, water container, spoon, etc., preferably using fruit vinegar and soft brush.

For mucilagnious seeds such as cress and rucola/arugula: once the mucilage has started to form, only spray with fresh water.

Wash harvested sprouts before consuming. Store sprouts maximum 2-3 days in the fridge.

A practical sprouter for smaller portions (2-person household); the notch on the insert is practical for soaking and for sprouting it lies on top and the water can drip off. The lid can easily be put on so that air can get in when the sprouts get bigger. A small point of criticism from me: the edge of the insert is very low, so you have to be careful when rinsing that the grains/sprouts don't get washed down the side. Otherwise, a device that serves its purpose very well.

Ein praktisches Keimgerät für kleinere Portionen (2-Personen-Haushalt); praktisch ist die Auskerbung am Einsatz zum Einweichen und zum Keimen liegt er auf und das Wasser kann abtropfen. Der Deckel lässt sich problemlos so auflegen, dass Luft rankommt, wenn die Keimlinge größer werden. Kleiner Kritikpunkt von mir: der Rand des Einsatzes ist sehr niedrig, so dass man beim Spülen aufpassen muss, dass die Körner/Keimlinge nicht seitlich runtergespült werden. Ansonsten ein Gerät, das seinen Zweck sehr gut erfüllt.

Für alle, die noch wenig Erfahrung mit Sprossen und Keimlinge haben ist dieses Gerät der optimale Einstieg. Ich jedenfalls finde es ziemlich benutzerfreundlich und hab dank ihm jetzt öfter Sprossen auf meinem Butterbrot.
