Primavera Kraftkonzentrat
Scents can play an important role in our well-being. Already in ancient times, in Mesopotamia and in Ancient Egypt, incense was burned during important ceremonies. The fragrant scent symbolized closeness to the gods and inspired the soul. Because physical ailments were often attributed to supernatural powers, the incense was supposed to drive evil spirits away from the sick. The Greeks and Romans were less mythological in their diagnosis and used, among other things, mint leaves to purify the air in hospitals. In all advanced ancient civilisations, essential oils were obtained by cold pressing. Oils from medicinal plants often had an intense fragrance and were part of the basic equipment of many ancient physicians. In addition, essential oils were also used to produce fragrant creams, massage and fragrance oils.
After steam distillation was invented in the Orient at the end of the 10th century, essential oil could also be extracted from plants that were difficult to press. North of the Alps, however, the valuable oils from medicinal plants did not become widespread until the High Middle Ages. Because of their pleasant fragrance, they were mainly used in hospitals. Although doctors and healers have been working with essential oils for centuries, their enormous potential was only discovered at the beginning of the 20th century. The Frenchman René-Maurice Gattefossé is considered the father of modern aromatherapy. In an explosion in his laboratory in July 1910, he not only burned his scalp, but also both hands. He treated his injured skin areas with lavender oil and was thus able to accelerate his healing and reduce scarring.
Gattefossé was so impressed by the successful use of lavender oil that from then on he concentrated his research entirely on essential oils. In his works "Aromatherapy" and "Essential Antiseptics" (1937), the term aromatherapy was used for the first time. This refers to the use of essential oils to alleviate illness or increase well-being. Aromatherapy is a branch of phytotherapy (herbal medicine). Like all other forms of medicine, it may only be practised professionally by licensed doctors or certified natural health professionals in Germany. Aromatherapy is not the same as aromatherapy care. The latter serves primarily to promote holistic well-being. The classic forms of aroma care include, for example, the use of essential oils in baths and in the production of skin care products.
The Kraftkonzentrate ("power concentrates") from Primavera show how uncomplicated aroma care can be. In combination with care oil, plant water or sea salt, the blends of naturally pure essential oils can be individually adapted to personal needs. The pleasant fragrance of the Primavera Kraftkonzentrat Belly Stroker is provided by essential oils of anise and coriander seeds, Roman chamomile and marjoram. The Kraftkonzentrat First Aid relies on the triad of essential oils of immortelle, cistus and lavender. Angelica root, bergamot, larch and jasmine absolute are responsible for the cosy aroma of the Kraftkonzentrat Soul Stroker. The activating scent of the Primavera Kraftkonzentrat Protection refines care oils, shea butter or neutral shower gel. The coordinated essential oils of yarrow, manuka, lavender and carrot seed result in the warm, sweet-tart fragrance profile of the Kraftkonzentrat Skin Stroker.
