I have used Citronella oil as recommended by Primavera as an insect repellent: Lavender fine + Ctronella in a skin oil. Primavera also recommends euclyptus oil (I didn't use it because I use homeopathic remedies).
Problem: I had biting insects in my bed, probably from our tomcat. It is not clear whether it was fleas and/or hair lice. I had very itchy red swellings on my feet and legs, which were clearly different from mosquito bites. Covering the bed, washing the mattress cover, completely dismantling the bed frame and vacuuming had no success. I looked for other ways. I tried rubbing this oil on my feet in the evening and putting on socks. After about 2 months, the biting insects were almost gone. I am rarely bitten anymore. In addition, the lavender oil had a very sleep-inducing effect on me. I had no desire for synthetic insecticides in my bed. I can recommend this application of citronella oil!

Ich habe Citronella-Öl nach Empfehlung von Primavera als Insetktenvertreibendes Mittel genommen: Lavendel fein + Ctronella in ein Hautöl. Primavera empfiehlt zusätzlich noch Euklyptusöl (habe ich nicht verwendet, da ich homöopatische Mittel nehme).
Problem: ich hatte in meinem Bett beißende Insekten, wahrscheinlich von unserem Kater. Es ist dabei nicht klar ob es Flöhe und/oder Haarlinge handelte. Ich hatte an Füßen und Beinen stark juckende rote Schwellungen, die sich von Mückenstichen deutlich unterschieden. Bettbeziehen, Matratzenbezug waschen, völliges Auseinandernehmen des Bettgestells und Absaugen hatten keinen Erfolg. Ich suchte nach anderen Wegen. Mein Versuch: Füße abends mit diesem Öl einreiben und Socken anziehen. Nach etwa 2 Monaten waren die beißenden Insekten fast weg. Ich werde nur noch selten gebissen. Zusätzlich wirkte das Lavendel-Öl sehr einschlaffördend auf mich. Auf synthetische Insektizide hatte ich in meinem Bett keine Lust. Ich kann diese Anwendung von Citronella-Öl empfehlen!
