I am an absolute artichoke fan, which is why I ordered this pesto with great expectation and tried it yesterday. Unfortunately, the taste is not convincing, too lemony, no artichoke can be tasted. However, since this is a natural product without harmful additives and with high-quality ingredients (olive oil instead of sunflower oil, lemon juice instead of artificial citric acid), I recommend buying it, even though it didn't taste good to me. But as we all know, tastes are subject to debate. I therefore give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Ich bin ein absoluter Artischocken Fan, weswegen ich mir mit grosser Erwartung dieses Pesto bestellte und gestern gleich probiert habe. Geschmacklich aber leider nicht überzeugend, zu sehr zitronig, keinerlei Artischocke ist raus zuschmecken. Da dies aber ein natürliches Produkt ohne bedenkliche Zusätze und mit hochwertigen Zutaten ist (Olivenöl statt Sonnenblumenöl, Zitronensaft statt künstliche Zitronensäure), gebe ich eine Kaufempfehlung, wohl gleich es mir nicht gut geschmeckt hat. Aber über Geschmäcker lässt sich ja bekanntlich streiten. Von mir gibts deshalb 4 von 5 Sterne.

Quality very good. Especially with olive oil instead of sunflower oil. Wanted to try it. On toast and baguette at the barbecue. It went down well with our guests. We like the chickpea version of this PPura pesto a bit more. It's just a matter of taste.

Qualität sehr gut. Vor allem mit Olivenöl statt Sonnenblumenöl. Wollten es mal probieren. Auf Toast und Baguette beim Grillen. Bei unseren Gästen kam es gut an. Wir mögen die Kichererbsen Variante von diesem PPura Pesto etwas mehr. Ist eben Geschmackssache.

I love artichokes and I really like this combination with lemon - it goes really well together. Unlike Gudrun H., I find the pesto quite aromatic and well flavoured (perhaps the recipe has been improved since 2019?). I will definitely order it regularly!

Ich liebe Artischocken und diese Kombi mit Zitrone gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut - passt wirklich toll zusammen. Anders als Gudrun H. finde ich das Pesto durchaus aromatisch und gut abgeschmeckt (evtl. wurde die Rezeptur seit 2019 auch verbessert?). Werde es mir definitiv regelmäßig bestellen!

I was currently wondering why the product only tastes conditionally to me until I got my hands on an "old empty jar" and, comparing the ingredient lists, found that "at some point" the artichoke content had been significantly reduced and the oil content increased. However, I would rather pay a bit more for the old version!!! I still find it very good that PPura uses high-quality extra virgin olive oil and not cheap sunflower oil.

Ich habe mich aktuell gefragt, warum mir das Produkt nur noch bedingt schmeckt, bis ich ein "altes leeres Glas" in die Finger gekriegt und im Vergleich der Zutatenlisten festgestellt habe, dass sich "irgendwann" der Artischocken-Anteil deutlich reduziert hat und der Ölanteil erhöht. Ich würde allerdings für die alte Version lieber etwas mehr bezahlen!!! Sehr gut finde ich nach wie vor, dass PPura hochwertiges Olivenöl extra vergine verwendet und nicht billiges Sonnenblumenöl.

Disappointment . I had imagined something more aromatic. The taste is more like oil, the artichoke is flat. I will buy artichokes in lye and then mix it again with lemon so that it doesn't just taste like oil. Would not recommend the product to others

Enttäuschung . Hatte mir etwas mehr aromatisches vorgestellt. Geschmack eher nur nach Öl, die Artischocke kommt flach daher. Werde mir Artischocken in Lauge kaufen und dann es neu vermischen, mit Zitrone, damit es nicht nur nach öl schmeckt. Würde das Produkt nicht weiter empfehlen
