Boil 600 ml of stock. Sauté the contents of the packet in a small amount of oil for 2 minutes and deglaze with water or white wine. Keep adding stock and cook on a low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring. Season to taste with salt, pepper, Parmesan, herbs, cream or vegetable cream, put the lid on and leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
