War ein Geschenk für einen guten Freund, der sich explizit von allen Gästen "nur Cashewmus" wünschte, weil er es witzig fand und Cashewmus offensichtlich unfassbar liebt. : Review date:Probably the best cashew puree I know. I find roasted cashews disgusting / I get sick easily from them ;) And this one is especially gently ground (raw food quality - if that's really true, they shouldn't be heated above 40°C, I don't know if that's true here) and it actually tastes finer than some that are described as "unroasted / natural". If you leave it at the bottom of the fridge for 1+ week (possibly stirring in the above oil beforehand), the consistency becomes somewhat firmer, almost buttery. And then you can smear some of it on a piece of very dark chocolate (95...100%) (or dip it in), the taste is almost praline-like. This would not be possible with less gently treated cashews ;)
Vermutlich das beste Cashewmus, das ich kenne. Geröstete Cashew finde ich eklig / wird mir leicht schlecht von ;) Und dieses ist besonders schonend vermahlen (Rohkostqualität - wenn das wirklich zutrifft, dürften die nicht über 40°C erhitzt werden, ob das hier zutrifft, weiß ich nicht) und tatsächlich schmeckt es auch feiner als so manches, das als "ungeröstet / naturbelassen" bezeichnet wird. Wenn man (evtl. vorher obenstehendes Öl unterrühren) es ganz unten im Kühlschrank 1+ Woche stehen lässt, wird die Konsistenz etwas fester, fast butterartig. Und dann kann man sich davon schon 'mal etwas auf ein Stück sehr dunkle Schokolade (95...100%) schmieren (oder damit eintauchen), der Geschmack ist fast pralinenartig. Mit weniger schonend behandelten Cashews wäre das eher nicht möglich ;)
