Body care has been alkaline since the days of the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and the Romans. These civilizations used sodium bicarbonate, milk or alkaline soaps for body care. All body care for the elderly was carried out using only soft soap with values about pH 9.0. Leaching baths lasting for several hours were a traditional part of ancient Japanese and Mexican culture and are still practiced in these countries to this day due to their benefits for overall physical and spiritual well being. AlkaBath (MeineBase) bath salts with a pH value of pH 8.0 – 8.5 stand firmly in this venerable tradition. The pH level depends on the initial value and hardness of the tap water.

A bath temperature of 36°-38° C (97°-100° F) is recommended for full baths, for foot baths it is 38°-41° C (100°-106° F). The bathing times should be of at least 30 minutes, ideal are 45-60 minutes or longer. Three tablespoons of AlkaBath suffice for a full bath and one tablespoon for a hip bath. One heaped teaspoon suffices for compresses, rinses, inhalations and foot baths.

I have been using this body care salt for foot baths for a while and have now also started with full baths. At first, I had the 75 g tin to try it out. In the meantime, I am totally convinced and order the 750 g size. My skin, which is usually rather dry, has become much more supple.

Ich nutze dieses Körperpflegesalz schon länger für Fußbäder und habe nun auch mit Vollbädern angefangen. Anfangs hatte ich die 75 g Dose zum Ausprobieren. Mittlerweile bin ich total überzeugt und bestelle die 750-g-Größe. Meine sonst eher trockene Haut ist deutlich geschmeidiger geworden.

Super product! The skin is super soft after the bath. Great for the full bath and foot bath! But there are many more uses. I always enjoy buying "My Base". I can only recommend it!

This product is ideal for foot baths as well as full baths. I don't take a full bath that often, but I do take a foot bath more often. It's good for me, the skin is nice and soft, it's completely chemical-free and therefore I would always order it again.

Dieses Produkt ist bestens geeignet für Fuß- wie auch Vollbäder. Vollbad nehme ich jetzt nicht ganz so oft, aber ein Fußbad lass ich mir da schon öfters ein. Mir tut es gut, die Haut wird schön weich, es ist ganz ohne Chemie und von daher würde ich es immer wieder bestellen.
