A bath temperature of 36°-38° C (97°-100° F) is recommended for full baths, for foot baths it is 38°-41° C (100°-106° F). The bathing times should be of at least 30 minutes, ideal are 45-60 minutes or longer. Three tablespoons of AlkaBath suffice for a full bath and one tablespoon for a hip bath. One heaped teaspoon suffices for compresses, rinses, inhalations and foot baths.

(Depending on tub size and hardness of the water, an increase in dosage may be needed to reach a pH of 8.5.)

My base was handed to me as a trial pack. To be honest, I had no idea what it was supposed to be. After reading up on the internet, I became curious because of the many positive reviews. Actually, I can't do much with any alleged effect of gemstones, but I thought it couldn't hurt and gave the salt a try. I poured the whole packet into my bath. For me, the product has more of a medicinal character and little to do with wellness. But the result was really convincing. My skin was soft and supple. I didn't even have to put any cream on it. I will now order a larger pack of the salt and test it further.

Meine Base wurde mir als Probierpackung überreicht. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich keine Ahnung, was das eigentlich sein soll. Nachdem ich mich im Internet belesen hatte, war ich durch die vielen positiven Bewertungen neugierig geworden. Eigentlich kann ich mit irgendeiner angeblichen Wirkung von Edelsteinen nicht viel anfangen, aber ich dachte mir, kann ja nicht schaden und habe das Salz einmal ausprobiert. Ich habe die ganze Packung in meine Wanne geschüttet. Das Produkt hat für mich eher einen medizinischen Charakter und wenig mit Wellness zu tun. Aber das Ergebnis war wirklich überzeugend. Meine Haut war weich und geschmeidig. Ich musste sie nicht einmal mehr eincremen. Werde mir das Salz jetzt mal in einer größeren Packung bestellen und weiter testen.
