Neti Nasal Rinsing Salt with measuring spoon. Sodium chloride (without additives) for the preparation of an isotonic saline solution for a neti nasal rinsing jug. The nasal rinsing salt is fine-grained and easily soluble.

Instructions:

Fill the Neti Nasal Wash with lukewarm isotonic saline solution (9 grams of salt per 1 liter of water).
Let the water run easily into one nostril.
Put your head over the sink and rotate it slightly to one side.
Open your mouth and lift the jug until the solution flows out through the other nostril. Breathe calm and relaxed through the mouth.
When the jug is empty, fill it as before, and repeat with the other nostril. Turn your head to the other side.
Finally, blow your nose carefully to remove remaining liquid residues without compressing the nostrils with a handkerchief.

Dosage tip:

One level neti measuring spoon of salt dissolved in 125 ml of warm water produces isotonic saline solution for a net nasal rinsing wash.

After operations in the nasopharyngeal area or in case of special anatomical features, ask your ENT doctor whether the Nasal Wash is suitable for you.
Pay attention to the correct salt concentration of the rinsing solution, in order to avoid irritations of the mucous membranes. If a strong irritation of the mucous membranes occurs, stop the rinsing process. If necessary, rinse with isotonic saline if there was an error with the salt dose. If symptoms persist please consult a doctor.
Do not use a damaged jug because injuries could be caused by sharp edges.

Hygiene:

Rinse the jug after each nasal rinse with clear water. With vinegar solution you may from time to time remove lime. Occasional cleaning in the dishwasher at 60-70° C or boiling for at least 4 minutes also is recommended.
When users change, the jug should be disinfected or thoroughly boiled.
