Natur Hurtig Himalayan Crystal Salt, chunks. This untreated crystal salt was formed more than 250 million years ago by the drying up of the primordial oceans and is stored today, protected from environmental influences, at a depth of 300 to 600 metres under the earth. It is completely natural, i.e. not chemically purified, and represents the highest quality form of natural salt.
Natur Hurtig sources its crystal salt from the Salt Range in northern Pakistan. In one of the oldest salt mines at the foot of the Himalayas, it has been traditionally mined for over 2,000 years, sorted out by hand, washed, sun-dried and then ground. In Germany, recognised institutes monitor the quality.

Pure salt, not refined, boiled or treated in any way. The chunks in my pack were of relatively the same size. You can use it for seasoning as well as for making salt sole.

Reines Salz, nicht raffiniert, gesiedet oder wie auch immer behandelt. Die Brocken in meiner Packung waren von relativ gleicher Größe. Man kann es zum Würzen verwenden wie auch zum Ansetzen von Salzsohle.
