After several years in which no coffee could reach the Arabica Crema beans in our French Press, only Mount Hagen itself could make us drink another coffee ;-). When it came into the range here, we curiously tried it & it was allowed to stay. It lives up to its name, is a bit more rustic, spicier, less nuttily sweet than the Arabica Crema & doesn't quite appeal to me as much as the latter. Since then, we've been alternating between the two according to taste. Of course, there are other drinkable coffees, but no other has been so round to us since then: In the last few years, for example, we have tried Arabica beans from Lebensbaum (quite tasty in my girlfriend's machine) and some from Bioladen (relatively close) - they were not allowed to stay ;-)

The best coffee I have ever made myself. Some time ago, I read up a bit on coffee making and got myself a French press. Over time, I tried several bean coffees, all of which were delicious. But the Mount Hagen was by far the best. Such a mild, yet strong and tasty experience!
