I think these are the best chestnuts I have ever bought. I nibbled the whole pack in one sitting. Oh yes: And little breakage, I can agree with that. And no funny aftertaste like with some other products! Mmmmh! I will order again!

I snack on the soft chestnuts from Morgenland from time to time. The skin of the chestnuts was removed cleanly and without residue. There is very little breakage in the 100g package, which surprised me positively. The taste of these chestnuts is slightly sweet and they are certainly a good addition to baked dishes - but I can't report on that yet, because that is still on my "to try" list.

Die weichen Esskastanien von Morgenland snacke ich ab und zu zwischendurch. Die Schale der Maronen wurde sauber und ohne Rückstände entfernt. Es ist sehr wenig Bruchanteil in der 100g Packung, was mich positiv überrascht hat. Vom Geschmack her sind diese Maronen leicht süßlich und sicherlich auch eine gute Ergänzung bei Backgerichten - dazu kann ich aber noch nichts berichten, denn das steht noch auf meiner "Ausprobier-Liste".
