Mezzogiorno Organic Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC. In the sun-drenched south of Italy, the Mezzogiorno, traditional grape varieties still characterise the wine culture. Nero d'Avola is one of the best grape varieties in Sicily, where it is also known as Calabrese. Its characteristics give this wine its dark colour and spiciness, as well as aromas of prunes and fine fruit jam. Ideal with osso buco and saltimbocca.
