Luvos Healing Earth magenfein Granules, 50 sachets is an over-the-counter (OTC) medicinal product. In granulated form for oral intake. For the supportive treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders irritable bowel and irritable stomach with symptoms such as diarrhoea and flatulence as well as belching, heartburn, stomach pressure and bloating.

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 1 to 2 portion bags twice a day for the supportive treatment of the functional gastrointestinal disorders irritable colon and irritable stomach. In case of severe symptoms, take the same amount a third time.
The granules are swallowed unchewed in small portions or the whole granules with plenty of liquid (half a glass of water, mineral water or tea).

Duration of use:
The intake should be regular for at least 3-6 weeks. After 3 weeks a break of several days is to be maintained. Afterwards, the treatment is continued. Continuous treatment is harmless with normal kidney function. Prolonged use may not lead to habituation or diminishing effect.

Warnings and precautions:
It should be excluded that other possible diseases might be responsible for the complaints.
It is most important to take enough liquid and electrolytes in the treatment of diarrhoea, especially in adolescents and elderly people.
As a matter of principle, a doctor should be consulted in the case of diarrhoea with blood admixtures or accompanied by fever and circulatory disorders.
The widespread use of healing clay as a medicinal product has so far not resulted in any indications of a risk in the use during pregnancy or breast-feeding period and in children under 12 years of age.
However, results of sufficient studies are not available. Therefore, the medical product should only be used after consultation with a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified person working in a healing profession.
There is no restriction of use for elderly people.

Ingredients/INCI:

6.5 g granules (= 1 sachet) contain 6.2 g healing clay and other ingredients: methyl cellulose and maltodextrin.
Active ingredient healing clay: Luvos Healing Clay is natural loess. The composition of minerals and trace elements includes silicon, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, copper and zinc.

Luvos Healing Earth magenfein must not be taken if you have already had a sensitive reaction to loess preparations and in the case of severe disorders of kidney function.
Luvos Healing Earth magenfein should be stored in the original packaging and odourless to protect the contents from moisture and taste disturbance.
The product has a shelf life of 36 months after opening.

Interactions with other medicines and side effects:
Medicinal products do not influence the effect of Luvos Healing Earth magenfein . Because of its pronounced ability to bind other substances, Luvos Healing Earth magenfein should be taken at intervals of one to two hours before or after taking medicinal products.
