Those who deal with classic naturopathy cannot get past healing earth. While in the Middle Ages no distinction was made between rhassoul (lava clay), alumina and mineral clay, the legislators of the modern western world have clearly defined the use of the mineral powder. In order to be able to use the term ”healing earth“, an approval as a medical device must be available. ”Healing earth“ can be used both internally and externally. Healing earth is one of the oldest known natural remedies. The old popular saying ”dirt cleans the stomach“ is still often quoted today. For centuries, healing earth was one of the most important remedies in the ancient Mediterranean region. At the time of the Roman Empire, a special clay from the Greek island of Lemnos was pressed into a round tablet shape and was stamped with a seal. Over the following centuries, however, this so-called ”sealed earth“ was increasingly forgotten. Healing earth was not rediscovered until the end of the 19th century. Adolf Just was one of the first persons who recognized its enormous potential for naturopathy. The healing earth company Luvos Just GmbH & Co. KG, which he founded in 1918, still produces healing earth from ice-age loess until today.
Healing earth does not have a precisely defined composition. The loess of the Luvos healing earth mainly consists of natural minerals such as silicate, calcite and dolomite. These minerals contain silicon, calcium, iron and magnesium as well as trace elements such as copper, manganese, nickel, selenium and zinc. In order to process the precious loess as gently as possible, Luvos relies on the latest technology. After being dried at 130°C, the loess, which is already fine, is ground and sieved into a very fine powder by using a special process. Luvos healing earth is still produced as a pure natural product without chemical additives, fragrances, colors or preservatives.

The Luvos Hydro Booster combines hyaluronic acid, seaweed extract and invigorating caffeine to form a refreshing moisturizing concentrate.
