Linea Natura Organic Alpine Bread. Small, square brown gingerbread made from flavoursome spiced dough with a fine cocoa glaze. Originally from southern Germany and Switzerland, the shape of this speciality is more reminiscent of bread than (round) gingerbread. It was initially sold as "Kräuterbrot" (herb bread) (at that time without chocolate). It is now known as "Alpenbrot" (Alpine Bread) or "Magenbrot" (stomach bread).
